For this unique project, Oak & Broad provided our 7” wide plank flooring and created a special White Oak flooring stain according to the homeowner’s specifications. The result is a home filled with the warmth of natural wood grains that contrast nicely with lighter wall and ceiling colors. Wide plank flooring with a White Oak Stain was used throughout the entire 3,000 square foot space. This provides a consistent look that creates a natural flow from room to room.
One of the challenges of working in Florida is the humidity. Fortunately, our products are engineered to respond to humid conditions. With the help of a climate-controlled home, you won’t have to worry about excessive expansion and contraction. White Oak flooring performs especially well in these extreme conditions.
White Oak was also a perfect choice for this project because it readily takes stains. In this case, the Oak and Broad team spent six months reviewing color samples and other materials that would be used in the home. Using this information, we created several rounds of custom stain samples that were then shipped to the client for approval. Once they decided on a final color, we were able to provide them with high-quality flooring that perfectly complemented the home’s décor.
